ENRICO TONUCCI

Born in Pesaro in 1946,
Obtained diploma at the Institute of Art in Urbino;
attended a mastery of Art course in Florence and a course in Scenography at the Accademy of Art in Urbino.
Designer since 1970 for both italian and overseas
companies and artistic director for some of the leading
companies in the furniture field.

BEDONT Company (Italy); designed the “Olimpia” collection, tables, chairs and
various complements for the VERARDO Company;
designed the stand for the Fiera Maison&Objet, Paris,

September 04 for the TRIANGOLO and ARTE&CUOIO
trademarks.

35th SAMP, Salone del Mobile di Pesaro (27/5- 1/6 1998) and the 1st SuMob - Salone della
Subfornitura del Mobile.

2005
participated in the exhibition for the Twentieth Anniversary of “100 autori per Abitare il Tempo” with the ”Africa” table.
Participated in the “I designer delle Marche” exhibition
in Milan and Ancona, with the “Brancusi” table and the
“ Zen” model doors

2006
january, participated in the Milan Macef with the Manifesto trademark in the MATERIE exhibition. 2006 – April, participated in the exhibition at the “Chiostri dell’Umanitaria” with the MANIFESTO trademark
during the Milan International Furniture Salon.
Participated in the XIV Grandesign edition with the
PESO doorstop designed for MANIFESTO by Luigi
Caccia Dominioni.

PUBLICATIONS

1986 - 1988
supervised the direction and was responsible for
editorial coordination of the "LE MARCHE DEL MOBILE" review, work instrument of the COSMOB, Furniture Consortium S.p.A., a structure that offered
services to the companies of the furniture system of the Marches Region;

1988
directed, together with DINO GAVINA who was the editorial coordinator, and VITTORIO SGARBI who supervised the texts, the "LE MARCHE REGIONE DEL MOBILE" review.
More than a review to keep and consult, it treated arguments useful for educating and training architects, designers and entrepreneurs;

1989
director and editorial coordinator of the publication
"LA ROVERESCA", published by the BIGELLI MARMI Company. "LA ROVERESCA" was a book/catalogue of the tables and furniture complements exhibition of the same name organised in Urbino that saw some of the most important European designers involved,
among whom LUIGI CACCIA DOMINIONI, NIGEL COATES, TONI CORDERO, OSCAR TUSQUETS BLANCA, and FRANCESCO VENEZIA;

1991
editorial coordinator of the "VEGLIA DOMI" book, published by the Marches Region, and catalogue of the exhibition of the same name organised within the "ABITARE IL TEMPO" manifestation.
